Aalam is a fantasy steampunk world, draped in elements of sword and sorcery. Picture a vibrant world where Victorian skyscrapers shear the clouds as mana powered zeppelins soar by and mythical creatures of old howl in the distance. A world where a dwarf flags down a steam powered trolley adorned with a figurehead of crossed sword and spear, and the elven trolley operator hollers “you need a lift?” as the trolley hisses to a stop. Like the world of Aalam, the game Aalam desires to bring players together not just as storytellers but as collaborative partners.

High Evenlude Forest Temple

Throughout High Evenlude, various temples are created to worship the elements. These temples are meeting grounds for the Graul as well as training areas, ritual sites, and educational centers for the people to learn various trades and the history of Aalam. The temples are also known to create barriers whenever there are signs of danger.

Rafale City

The magnificent floating city of Rafale is never in the same place twice. It glides across the Sali desert sands using the winds of hurricanes and Tamiel Majik. At the city’s heart is an arena where Shi’komi warriors battle for higher status and prestige. Surrounding the stadium are dirt roads lined with pop-up food and merchant shops. The head of the city is lavished with the luxury of the affluent, while the tail end of the town is peppered with clay houses and stacked apartments. Yet all are protected under the mechanical shell of Rafale.
