"The invasion of the water walkers set us back a bit, but after the raid on Drakson's port, the loot that we found on Hadook Island, the possible treaty we're forming with the Navi tribe, and the acquisition of a certain item, we are looking at a very lucrative year."
~Captain Talbot Logos, Overseer of Finance and Trade~
The DDA was created after the fall of King Heidelberg. The commander of Heidelberg's navy, Captain Gabriel Tirus, rallied the survivors of the great cataclysm together on her ships to flee the destruction. Fearing death should they stay on land, the remaining population, led and protected by the soldiers and sailors, fled to the seas to find a new home. While they searched for a haven, Tirus and the three most trusted captains of her fleet planned a new kingdom: one that represented all races and guided them to prosperity through hard work and cooperation. No longer led by a king but by captains and their strict but honorable naval code.
The people of the new kingdom have declared themselves the Domador de Aqua (DDA). They fly the colors of the red boar on a black flag, and every member wears the red boar's symbol on their clothing, which grants them access to specific ports and areas of the Kraken. After enduring many skirmishes with other kingdoms, the DDA established itself as the dominant force in the ocean, a status it still holds today. Anyone in the kingdom can be whoever they choose, as long as they pledge allegiance to the DDA by swearing loyalty to the captains. With this message of tolerance, the DDA began recruiting individuals from other races who sought greater freedoms than those offered by their respective monarchies.
