"Look, my child. Notice the ground breathing. Stay still. Stay quiet. Witness the great plains' most fearsome hunter."

~Harbi Masi, her son Bao Masi: Diplomats of the Navi Tribe~

The Kichuguu are large, ferocious creatures with dense fur, sharp fangs, and massive claws. They use their claws to dig tunnels and create caverns and nests to raise their pups. The Kichuguu that live in the plains are infamous for their hunting tactics. They tunnel into the ground, listen and stalk their prey, and burst out of the earth, surprising their target and dragging it into the depths. Kichuguu, which dwells in the forest, uses a different strategy. They create systematic pitfalls throughout the forest and startle their prey towards the trap. They are dragged deeper into the tunnel once their prey falls into the pit.

The Kichuguu, known and feared throughout Aalam, have left a deep mark on the world. They have leveled villages, disrupted trading routes, devoured livestock, destroyed caravans, and even turned the tides in battle. Their influence is undeniable. During the battle of Haru Pu'Ratha, the leader of the Hara'sudo tribe suffered a massive loss at the hands of the Oratho and needed reinforcements. When Turlus Thayn and his troops were about to give the decisive blow, his soldiers were surprised by Kichuguu bursting out of the ground and dragging them into the dark. Pu'Ratha took advantage of this distraction, retreated, and met with their reinforcements. Captain Bartum of the DDA states, "The Kichuguus are the most expensive nuisance ever." Losing over one hundred thousand dollars worth of equipment and seven men by being ambushed by the Kichuguus after a trade deal. The Suwahi village in the High Evenlude Forest lost power for eight weeks after the Kichuguus severed the main pipeline to their mana generator. Some tribes have been known to domesticate and use them to find and scout out different caves, tunnels, caverns, and other Kichuguu tunnels and nests. These are very dangerous animals and should not be taken lightly if found in the wild.

I love the descriptive nature of your storytelling. It hints to players things they might consider doing to trying while playing. I'm excited to try the final product when it drops. Your hard work is really bringing something great to tabletop gaming.
